I am proud to introduce to you my amazing 6 year old nephew, Jamie. Jamie has Nonverbal Autism & Global Development Delay (GDD).
Jamie loves to laugh, play and explore! He also loves his picture books, listening to music and eating pancakes 🥞
There is never a dull moment and Jamie is a joy to care for. His parents are incredible and work really hard to ensure that Jamie is living his best life! Jamie is so loved.
I have seen firsthand the impact that Autism and GDD have on a day to day basis. Amongst all of the joy and heartwarming moments, there is also a relentless exhaustion, anxiety and heartache that comes with parenting a child with SEND. The emotional, mental and physical challenges can be overwhelming.
It is my passion to be able to help those in need of support. By being able to provide respite care, families are able to take a break and recharge their batteries, rest assured that their loved one is in safe hands.
I/we may be biased but Esther is incredible with our precious boy.
The level of anxiety when you have to accept for your own well being, you need respite, which not only benefits ourselves for self preservation but also long term for Jamie.
Handing over/leaving Jamie in the care and the trust of someone else is another traumatic step but Esther has made this reluctance, such a smooth ride and Jame absolutely loves her and why?
She is diligent, loving, caring and after a small amount of time instrumentally in tune to not only meet his needs but also help Jamie flourish to meet his potential.
I can honestly say for anyone apprehensive and worried about the road to external help with their loved one, Within no time at all, given the opportunity, Esther will alleviate all your concerns and take you to a path of self care and absolute care for your loved one xx
