Respite care is temporary, short-term care for when family or primary caregivers need additional support or a short break. Getting to know clients is key to delivering excellent care, so it is vital that we understand day to day routines and mirror the daily support as much as we can. Respite can be regular care or it may be that you require last-minute support. At Birch Bank Community Care, you can trust that your loved one is in safe hands.
Home Care Support
There are many health conditions that can prevent both children and adults from being able to care for themselves. This could be due special educational needs or perhaps an age-related condition such as Dementia.
Home care support provides assistance with washing, dressing, medication and preparing meals. You may also need support with scheduling hospital appointments, clearing your home or needing help with those complex bills. Whatever your need, we strive to help wherever possible.
Creative Arts & Days Out
At Birch Bank Community Care, we are passionate about brightening your days and doing the things that you love. This could be having a cup of tea and looking through old photographs or you may want to take a day out shopping, attending your local park, club or activity centre. Or you may even want to take a trip to a theme park or the zoo, the list goes on!
